The Department of Pharmacy strives to attain the quality level of services like Inpatient care, Education, and as well Research. The Department of Pharmacy seeks to utilize the following goals:
To provide rational, progressive pharmacotherapy in a safe, efficient and compassionate manner to enhance the quality of life for all patients we serve.
To provide a leadership role in the evolution of knowledge through the development and support of investigations to benefit the advancement of Health Care delivery.
Provide current pharmaceutical information and instructions to health Professionals, healthcare students, and the general public. The hospital pharmacist advice on prescription, administration, and monitoring, as well as ensuring that medicines are available via procurement, storage, distribution, inventory control and quality assurance.
The Department of Pharmacy at the JFK Medical Center has 2(two) pharmacists, 24 (twenty-four) dispensers, and a computer analyst.
